Bedros Keuilian and his blog http://ptpower.com can show fitness professionals exactly how to do it quickly and effectively.

In fact his latest blog post focuses on the most overlooked tactic in the whole of fitness marketing. All businesses have marketing budgets, says Bedros. But it makes sense to utilize the low hanging fruit first the marketing methods that produce the best results almost instantly.

Low hanging fruit is the easiest fruit to pick, yet it is quite often overlooked by people who attend my Boot Camp Marketing workshops and coaching programs. In his blog post on fitness marketing tactics, Bedros goes on to say that the lowest hanging fruit in this business is referrals. They are pre-qualified because they have been recommended to the business, and thus some of the initial stumbling blocks to trusting a business have been removed. Some of the best clients are those who have come to the business as referrals, adds Bedros. But many fitness trainers have found that it can be difficult to get the referrals they want.

Motivation Is Not The Only Key To A Prosperous Business

Friday, March 16th, 2012

Your personality, and how you were raised, can be important factors in determining if you have the natural leadership skills to be a successful business owner. If you examine your friends, and other individuals, you will possibly note that many kids grow up to be much like their parents. Thus, if your parents were strong and independent, you may have exactly the same characteristics. You will absorb their qualities and values, beliefs and business mindset. This is why kids from dysfunctional families are less likely to become entrepreneurs than kids with more positive role models as parents. It goes without saying that you will have to go through a period of training to be successful as a business owner. That training doesn’t have to be “formal”, it can come from anyone who is active in your life.

Throughout life each of us is subject to good and bad sources of influence that change how we think and behave, and how we view the world. We need to identify the bad influences and eliminate them so they don’t influence our decisions. If you are going to be basically responsible for learning the necessary leadership skills that you will need to succeed in business, you must make this a top priority. You have to determine, and define, your goals – and the path you need to follow to reach them – in order to be successful. This is a step that a lot of people skip, or don’t take the time to learn how to do properly. For example, if being a medical doctor is what you want, then you have to set that as your major target for your life. Any career choice you decide on, whether it’s a physician, lawyer, baker, or business owner, starts out as a goal, something you wish to accomplish with your life.

If you’re not content with your existing job, or you’re not being paid enough to live on, you’re experiencing the motivation a lot of people have needed to make them decide to go into business for themselves. There are numerous categories of knowledge you should learn before you can operate a successful business unless, of course, you’ve been taught how to do so since you were born. It’s going to be necessary to adjust your whole point of view on what it takes to operate a business, especially if you have to change from being a staff member to being the boss. Most of us have gone through periods when we believed that we would be a far greater employer than the one we have – that we would do a better job; nevertheless, when that happens and we are the boss, our notion of what a boss does will likely change. This occurs when the reality of being boss sinks in and they find out it’s tougher than they imagined, particularly when they are using their own capital to run the business. What a lot of people find out is that switching places and becoming the boss isn’t as easy as it appeared while one was still a staff member.

Before you do anything towards having a business of your own, speak with lots of people who have a business and learn as much as you can about their daily realities. Talk to them about every facet of their businesses – the good and the bad – until you know, without a doubt, if you are cut out to be a business owner. Without sufficient motivation, dedication, and discipline, it isn’t possible to be successful in the business world as a business owner. Many people don’t have the instincts and character traits necessary to succeed. It is easy to understand why this is one of the major causes the majority of new businesses hardly ever become successful.

If you look at the businesses around you that are successful, it’s important that you are aware of how much work and dedication was required to make them successful. Hard work and knowing exactly what you are doing, as well as motivation in the face of set-backs, enough money to keep you going during the start-up phase, and a lot of time and sacrifice are a few of the challenges you will face if you want to succeed. Take the steps we’ve described in this report seriously and apply them conscientiously, and you’re going to have a solid foundation for being an excellent business owner.
